Under Construction Inc was tasked with reimagining a modest home in West Hollywood into a high-performing luxury rental. The client’s goals: increase functionality, add modern appeal, and minimize long-term upkeep. With limited square footage, every material decision had to enhance light, flow, and durability. The budget was tight, but the design standards were anything but.

Solution & Process

GoSource provided end-to-end procurement support for the remodel, sourcing a full suite of finishes — from bathroom tile and plumbing fixtures to countertops, flooring, and pavers.

We worked closely with the Under Construction team to select materials that would visually open up the space while withstanding high turnover and heavy use. Bright tilework, durable wood-look flooring, and low-maintenance counters were delivered on schedule and within budget, keeping the construction team moving forward.

Plastered walls, wide-plank white oak flooring, and built-in oak millwork flow throughout the open living space. A stone-wrapped island and tailored furniture selections complete the refined material palette.

Fusion leathered quartzite creates a striking centerpiece on the island, paired with matte black soapstone perimeter counters, rift-sawn white oak cabinetry, and floating white oak shelves for a warm, organic finish.

The primary bath features vein-cut travertine-style stone in the shower, integrated bench seating, matte black fixtures, and a floating oak vanity topped with honed limestone — a blend of softness and structure.

Limestone tile grounds the backyard landing, while the plunge pool is framed with tumbled coping and a honed limestone-clad water feature wall, creating a serene, textural focal point against the structured greenery.
