What started as a single-level structure on Redwood Avenue in Mar Vista now stands as a modern two-story home with sharp lines and fully customized interiors. Rhodium Construction led a full-scale reimagination of the property, adding a second story and reshaping the footprint entirely. With GoSource supporting the build across key finish categories, the project hit ambitious design and performance goals—on time and on point.

Project Overview

Located just west of Venice Blvd, this home underwent one of Rhodium Construction’s most dramatic transformations to date. The existing structure was stripped to its bones and rebuilt with added square footage, a brand-new second story, and a completely reengineered layout. The design called for contemporary lines, soft natural textures, and a consistent finish palette across floors.

Keeping this scope organized meant careful coordination of materials—from drywall and tile to doors and appliances. That’s where GoSource stepped in.

Solution & Process

GoSource worked closely with the Rhodium team to supply finish materials across several critical trades. We sourced and coordinated:

  • Drywall and paint systems to maintain consistency across new and old framing
  • Custom interior and exterior doors
  • Countertops and tile packages that matched the home's warm, neutral tone
  • Full appliance suite to align with cabinet and kitchen layouts

We managed lead times and delivery sequencing to avoid disruptions across overlapping finish phases. By consolidating procurement across multiple categories, GoSource reduced the number of vendors the GC had to manage—helping keep the second-story addition and interior build-out on pace.
